Board Members

  Jacqui MacConnell, President and Founder of Angels on Patrol, is a lieutenant with the Phoenix Police Department where she has worked since 1994. As an officer she worked in the Maryvale Precinct and South Mountain Precincts as well as in the Drug Enforcement Bureau, Sex Crimes Unit and the Training Academy. As a sergeant, she worked in the South Mountain and Central City Precincts as well as the Drug Enforcement Bureau. As a lieutenant, she was assigned to patrol in the Maryvale Precinct where she still works as the Crime Suppression Lieutenant. Jacqui founded Angels on Patrol in 2009 and owns her own business, MacConnell Instruction, LLC teaching citizens how not to be victims of violent crime.
 
  Dustin Ewert, Vice President of Angels on Patrol, is a manager of Field Operations at Cox Communications Arizona. He has been with Cox since 1996 and has a total of 17 years experience in the communications industry in Arizona. Dustin participates in leadership training, and coaching and developing classes at Cox. He is a resident in Mesa where he works and has lived since 1973. Dustin is a father of 4, all boys ages, 6 to 14, and he loves to be involved in the community. He enjoys spending time with youth groups such as Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He also enjoys outdoor activities within his community. Some of his community involvement includes donating time with the "Tumbleweed House" in Phoenix and participating in volunteering with "The United Food Bank of Arizona".
 
  Judy Segin Wallace, Financial Officer for Angels on Patrol, is the Director of Human Resources and Accounting with CBS 5/KPHO-TV here in Phoenix. She has been with CBS 5 since 1988 and has a total of 27 years in the television and radio broadcast industry. Judy has one daughter who is currently attending the University of Arizona in Tucson. She is a native of Illinois but has lived in the valley since 1981. Judy is very excited and honored to be part of the board for Angels on Patrol.
 
  Joann Durfey, Secretary for Angels on Patrol, is a Manager with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Phoenix and has been an Insurance Professional for 30 yrs. She has lived in the valley since 1983. Joann and her husband have raised 4 daughters. Joann has been active in her children's schools and enrichment activities and has been involved in various volunteer activities including St. Vincent DePaul, Phoenix Children's Safety Coalition, St. Mary's Foodbank, among others.
 
  Leah Heathcoat, Social Media for Angels on Patrol, is a Program Director at The National Advocacy and Training Network/SEED's Program and works with women who have been victims of domestic and sexual violence and are now residing in a safe and sober transitional living environment. In the past she has worked as a legal advocate for victims of domestic violence in Pinal County. She also volunteers, on occasion, for GINA's Team, an organization that helps women re-entering their communities after incarceration.
 
  Clyde Heathcoat, Board Member, is the owner of Continuum Technology Solutions, a new Valley company that offers top of the line certification training for broadband technicians. Clyde has a cross-functional background in telecommunications and broadcasting and extensive expertise in management and consulting. He has volunteered on numerous occasions through Cox Communications, Comcast and various local contractors to assist the Boys and Girls Club and Tumbleweeds with their events and projects.
 
  Jennifer Jones, Board Member, is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She started her career at ABC 15 in the Phoenix valley and for the past 6 years she has worked at CBS 5 News. She is the Managing Editor for the Local News Share between CBS, FOX and ABC. Jennifer has been the President of the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, a group she has been involved with for 10 years. She has completed the Phoenix Citizen's Police Academy, as well as the FBI Citizens Academy. Although she is not a native of Arizona, she has been here for nearly 16 years. Jennifer is honored to be on the board for Angels on Patrol and is thrilled to be able to give back to those in need.
 
  Jared Thompson, Board Member, is a Quality Control Technician at Cox Communications and has been with the company since 2000. He has lived in Arizona most of his life with the last the last 6 years spent in the East Valley. Jared has been a loving husband for 16 years and is the father of 4 children, two boys and two girls, ages 7 to 15. He loves to be involved in the lives of his kids and spending time with his son's youth football league. He also enjoys activities within the community by supporting Angels on Patrol.
 
  Deb Taylor, Board Member, is a detective for the Phoenix Police Department in the Domestic Violence Unit. She has worked for the department for 11 years.
 
  Chelsea Durkin is an attorney with the law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A. Her practice focuses on general commercial litigation, criminal defense, and attorney ethics. Chelsea is a native of Cave Creek, Arizona, and she enjoys exploring the state's outdoor wonders with her family. Her real passion is giving back to those in need, especially the homeless. She is also a volunteer yoga teacher at Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development.
